The slots are wide enough to let oil drain quickly while keeping even small bits of food secure. I've been using it daily for flipping eggs and fish, and the thin edge gets under everything cleanly without sticking.

That thin, flexible edge slides right under pancakes without tearing them, and the slots drain oil perfectly. I've been using mine daily for a week and it's already my go-to spatula.

The slots actually work as intended—flipping a fried egg felt almost effortless, and cleanup took ten seconds. It's become my go-to for anything that needs a gentle lift from a hot pan.
