I was worried the gold accents might look tacky, but they actually add a really nice festive touch. The bowl is heavy and well-made, perfect for holding mashed potatoes at our Christmas dinner.

The cardinal and holly design is so crisp and festive, it instantly makes my holiday table feel special. I was also pleasantly surprised by how heavy and sturdy the bowl feels for its size.

The gold rim is surprisingly elegant in person, and the cardinal design pops beautifully against the white porcelain. I used it for mashed potatoes at our Christmas dinner and got several compliments.
