The gold trim really pops against the white porcelain, and the platter is large enough to hold a full holiday spread without crowding. It cleaned up beautifully after serving heavy foods, no scratches or fading at all.

The wreath design in the center makes this platter feel festive without being too kitschy, and I've already used it for both a cheese spread and a full roast dinner. It's surprisingly heavy and sturdy, so it doesn't slide around on the table, though I do wish the gold trim were a bit more subtle up

I was a bit nervous the gold accents would look tacky, but they're actually subtle and elegant, catching the light beautifully during our Christmas dinner. The holly motif around the edge gives it such a classic holiday feel, and the size was perfect for holding a whole ham and sides.
