I was a little worried the vintage look would feel cheap, but the rustic tumbled finish gives each piece a nice, lived-in weight that's surprisingly durable. The traditional design fits right in with both my everyday dinners and the fancier holiday table, so it's been a solid all-around buy.

I was pleasantly surprised by how substantial each piece feels in hand—the weight is perfect, not too heavy but definitely not flimsy. The vintage black finish has a nice matte texture that adds character to the table.

The tumbled finish really hides fingerprints, which is a lifesaver for everyday dinners. I was surprised how substantial each piece feels in the hand without being heavy.
